About the weekly opinion poll
The Executive's weekly opinion poll is not scientific and reflects only the opinions of those users who have chosen to participate. The results should not be assumed to represent the opinions of County citizens or the public as a
whole. Following are answers to some questions you may have regarding the Executive's weekly opinion poll:
Can I comment on polls? Yes, by selecting the "Want to Comment?" link following the weekly poll. Poll comments should remain on topic and follow King County's Web policy for Use of Communication Forums. Comments that are on topic and in compliance with King County's Web policies will be posted online for other poll readers to view. Comments are posted anonymously, using no names or e-mail addresses. How are the poll results used? Because the poll is not scientific, its results are not used in decision making. However, your comments are read by the Executive and/or his staff. How often is the poll updated? The Executive's weekly opinion poll results are updated in real time, as you vote. A new question is posted weekly. Can I vote more than once on a poll? There is no way to track how many times one person may vote from various locations or via other methods. We encourage people to only vote one time in each weekly opinion poll. Does the weekly opinion poll make use of "cookies"? Yes. To participate in the Executive's weekly opinion poll your browser must support cookies. Browsers that support cookies include Internet Explorer 2.0 and higher and Netscape 3.0 and higher. What are "cookies"?
