King County offers two types of tax-saving flexible spending accounts, administered for the county by Associated Administrators Inc.
For the latest details, refer to the FSA Guide. It includes worksheets to help you determine if an FSA is right for you, and an FSA Enrollment form. If you're a new hire, you must submit your FSA Enrollment form to Benefits and Retirement Operations within 30 days of when your other health benefits begin. Otherwise, you must wait for a qualifying event or the next open enrollment. Once enrolled in an FSA, submit the FSA Change form to Benefits and Retirement Operations to change personal information (name, phone and mailing address) and contribution rates (if you have a qualifying event). For all other transactions, contact AAI. |
