For New Hires: Regular employees Including Full-Time Local 587

Attend a New Employee Orientation within your first seven days at work (if you're a full-time Local 587 transit operator, you receive NEO when you complete training and qualify). NEOs explain:
  • King County government organization and operation
  • Ethics, nondiscrimination and anti-harassment, and workplace violence prevention policies
  • State retirement system enrollment and deferred compensation plan participation
  • Health, insurance and other benefits.
Talk to your supervisor about scheduling your NEO. They're 9 a.m.-12:15 p.m. every Wednesday in the Columbia Conference Room on the third floor of the Exchange Building, 821 Second Ave. To register, e-mail kc.orientations@metrokc.gov.
