Financial Accounting - Maintenance of the county's central accounting records and preparation of county
wide financial reports and official statements required for bond issues. Fixed
asset accounting maintains records for all county fixed assets. Preparation of
the annual report on the county's financial condition and financial results of
operations, CAFR.
Accounts Payable - Payments of the county's obligations to vendors. Processing of vouchers and issuance
of warrants. Maintenance of the warrant redemption and reconciliation process.
Accounts Receivable and Collections - Billing and collection of certain non-tax related county charges. Conducting of
collection enforcement process to collect past due accounts through a contract
with a collection agency.
Accounting Systems Operations and Control - Management of the county's centralized financial systems (ARMS and IBIS). Assurance
that the county's production systems are maintained and up to date.
