Who
Is Eligible to Apply for Benefits?
Any police officer or
firefighter employed by an organization in unincorporated King County
before October 1, 1977, is eligible for membership in the LEOFF-1
plan and benefits defined under RCW41.26
and the Disability Board Rules,
Policies and Procedures. .
Deadline
for Submission of Claims
The King County Disability Retirement Board meetings are held
the last Wednesday morning of every month from 9 a.m. to noon in
Conference Room 118 on the first floor of the The Chinook Building
at 401 Fifth Ave. in downtown Seattle. As
a result, all completed claims need to be received in the Board
office by the second Wednesday of the month in which you wish them
reviewed.
