We strive to provide accurate and timely financial services to all of our customers. The goal of this web site is to provide our customers with an easy-to-use, up-to-date and helpful format for obtaining information about our services. This web site supplements our other information services, including our customer service phone lines and providing information in written formats to citizens, other governmental agencies and county departments.
Our services include:
- Treasury Services: Collect, distribute, and invest property taxes and other public revenues and manage long-term debt for King County and other taxing districts.
- Procurement and Contract Services: Through a fair, timely and competitive process, secure the best prices or most qualified vendors and contractors to provide goods and services to support all County operations.
- Benefits: Ensure timely and accurate enrollment of all County employees in benefits and retirement plans and manage process to ensure County compliance with all requirements for reporting and transfer payments.
- Accounting: Establish and maintain the County’s financial accounting system and perform all general financial accounting functions.
- Payroll: Issue timely and accurate paychecks for all County employees and maintain the payroll system to ensure County compliance with all tax-related reporting requirements.
