Overview

The ArcGIS 9 release introduces a new framework of geoprocessing and modeling tools that give users finite control over their processes. This environment is more flexible and allows for custom workflows that were not possible in previous ArcGIS releases. This six-hour course will walk students through a real analysis example that will enable them to become familiar with the ArcGIS Toolbox and geoprocessing tools, the Command Line and the Model Builder. The course includes presentation, demonstrations, exercises and reference materials to get students started in the world of geoprocessing.
