King County Employees

What will I pay as a King County employee?

Prices per student (for classes held in 2007):

  • Introduction to ArcView 3.x
    $450.00
  • Introduction to ArcGIS I
    $450.00
  • Introduction to ArcGIS II
    $575.00
  • Introduction to ArcGIS I and II (taken consecutively in the same week)
    $950.00
  • Basics of SQL
    $100.00
  • Geoprocessing for Analysts

  • Keeping Up with ESRI

How will my King County department pay for my class?

Payment for King County employees is made by interfund transfer two weeks before the scheduled start date of the class.

I'm a King County employee. How do I register?

Fill out and send a registration form to to Cheryl A. Wilder, King County GIS Center Training Coordinator, via interoffice mail or fax.

What are the prices for students who are not King County employees?

Prices per student (for classes held in 2007):*

How do students who are not King County employees pay for the classes?

Students who are not King County employees must provide a check for the full amount of the training cost made out to the King County Finance Department.

How do students who are not King County employees register?

Mail the appropriate form and a check made out to the King County Finance Department for payment in full to the address below:

What is the registration deadline?

Payment (by check) for registrants who are not employees of King County must be received two weeks prior to the scheduled class start date.

Is registration different for KCGIS classes offered at locations other than King Street Center?

Prices and other details about such classes may vary. Each class offered at a location other than King Street Center will have a custom registration form which is available on the catalog page for that class. Use this form rather than the standard KCGIS Training registration form to register for the class and to see other non-standard details about that class offering, such as pricing.go to top of page


Standard Terms and Conditions

Are there standard business terms and conditions that apply to the KCGIS training program?

The second page of the training registration form contains a full set of the Standard Training Terms and Conditions that cover enrollment in the KCGIS training program. By enrolling in a class using the registration form, prospective students accept the terms and conditions contained therein.go to top of page


Confirmation

How will my registration be confirmed?

All registered students will receive confirmation via e-mail one week prior to the scheduled class start date. go to top of page


Cancellations and Refunds

What is the KCGIS Center cancellation policy?

If, prior to the scheduled start date, the number of advanced registration students is not adequate to justify the cost of presenting the class, the class will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later date. All registered students will be notified immediately of any class cancellations. Registered students will be given the option of registering in a future class or receiving a tuition refund.

If you register for a class, but for any reason you cannot attend, please notify Cheryl Wilder via e-mail immediately.

Registered students who cancel with less than two weeks notice, or who fail to attend the class even though registered, will be billed for the full cost of the class. button graphic: go to top of page
