 Non-KCGIS Data Sources
King County GIS
provides the information in the table on this
page solely for reference,
to
assist
the public in locating additional
GIS data. King County does
not redistribute data
that it receives
from
outside sources.
Limitations:
- The table does not
list every organization
from which the King County GIS
Center obtains data.
- Many Federal and State
agencies make their data available on the web. Internet
search engines and GIS clearinghouse nodes can provide
you with a list of agencies and data sources.
- The fact that an
organization appears in this table
does not guarantee that it will
be able to share GIS information
or data.
- Organizations that
distribute data may require payment
and/or a data sharing agreement.
- A web link in the
table may connect to a source
of downloadable data, or simply
information about
the organization.
- Contact information
is provided as a courtesy only,
and is current
as of our most recent contact
with each organization. Some
organizations work with consultants
who developed
and/or maintain their GIS data.
When applicable, the name
of a consulting organization appears
in
parentheses, and the contact
person's name and phone number are
those of the consultant.
The
table rows are organized alphabetically
by the types of source organizations
(city, county, tribal, regional agency)
in
the first
column, then alphabetically within
each type by the names of the source
organizations (in the second column). |
