King
County is divided into three response zones that have been established
for E-911 call routing and dispatch of first responders. Zone 1 is served
by Eastside Communications Center, Zone 3 by Valley Communications Center,
and Zone 5 by the City of Seattle (Zones 2 and 4 were consolidated with
1 and 3). This map overlays the response zones with the fire districts
in King County, against a base map of major roads and highways and incorporated
cities.
