Currently, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is not recommending that people avoid travel to a country that has had cases of avian flu in either birds or humans. The CDC does recommend that persons traveling to places with avian flu avoid poultry farms, bird exhibits, and live bird markets and also avoid contact with things that may have been contaminated by poultry feces or secretions.
