» PERSONAL HEALTH SERVICES:

  • Burial Permits
  • Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN)
    Provides linkage and coordination of services to all children with special needs and provides limited direct medical services, equipment and supplies to those families that meet financial and other program eligibility requirements.
  • Family Planning and STD Clinic
    Family planning services and education and reproductive health care includes HIV and STD screening, pregnancy tests, birth control and referrals.
  • Home Visits
    Public Health Nurse visits are available to pregnant women, mothers with new babies and young children and families with health or parenting concerns. Services include health assessment, education and counseling and referral.
  • Interpreter Services
    Interpreter services are available to limited or non-English speaking clients by appointment for public health services.

  • Nutrition Services
  • Social Worker
    Counseling, education, referral and support for families by a Public Health Nurse.

  • Tuberculosis (TB) Testing and Screening
    Screening and treatment for tuberculosis is available. TB skin testing and appropriate follow up are provided.
  • Voter registration forms

  • Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program (WIC)
    • WIC is a supplemental food program for women who are pregnant or breast feeding, infants and children.
    • Eligibility is based on nutritional risk and family income.
    • Food and nutrition classes are offered by the Nutritionist as part of the WIC program.
