(makes 4 servings)

Ingredients: Nutrition Facts for Sweet-zza (text version below directions)

1/3 cup applesauce

small bullet

2/3 cup low fat ricotta cheese

small bullet

4 English muffins, split (8 halves)

small bullet

Pizza toppings, choose 3:

  • Apples or pear, thinly sliced
  • Pineapple chunks
  • Peaches, plums or nectarine slices
  • Berries, fresh or frozen
  • Banana slices
  • Tangerine sections
Directions:
1. Stir together applesauce with the ricotta cheese. Spread about two tablespoons sauce on each muffin half.
2. Arrange your favorite toppings on the 'crust' in a single layer. Use at least 3 colors.
3. Place pizzas on a baking sheet and bake at 400º for 10 minutes, or until the pizzas are heated through and the cheese is melted.
