2003 Seattle-King County HIV/CARE Services Comprehensive Needs Assessment
From March through December of 2003, Public Health - Seattle & King County's HIV/AIDS Program and the HIV/AIDS Planning Council for the Seattle Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA) conducted a comprehensive needs assessment of HIV/AIDS care services in King County.

Condom Information Update
Condoms help prevent STDs and unwanted pregnancies and studies show that increasing availability of condoms through community campaigns and school availability programs does not increase sexual activity in targeted populations.

HIV/AIDS Epidemiology Profile for Community Planning
In this 4th edition of the HIV/AIDS Epidemiology Profile for Community Planning - Seattle & King County, we describe the current status of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and changes in the epidemic in our community over the past two decades.

HIV/AIDS Epidemiology Reports
Statistics and interpretive articles cover the epidemiology of HIV and AIDS in Seattle-King County and Washington State with comparisons to national data. Each issue also includes reports about HIV prevention or HIV care services and articles from the Seattle-based adult and pediatric HIV/AIDS clinical trials units and the HIV Vaccine Evaluation Unit.

HIV/AIDS Statistics
The HIV/AIDS Surveillance and Epidemiologic Research Program is part of Public Health-Seattle & King County. The Program conducts state-mandated HIV and AIDS case reporting activities and public health research regarding the epidemiology, natural history, transmission and control of HIV, hepatitis B (HBV) and C (HCV) viruses, and other diseases of public health importance.
