Tacoma Smelter Plume
Extended Footprint Study

The purpose of this report is to review data collected during two phases of extended footprint studies of the Tacoma Smelter Plume Project, including studies on Vashon-Maury Island, Mainland King County, and Pierce County. The report summarizes and evaluates analytical data, including the magnitude and spatial patterns of elevated soils levels of arsenic and lead caused by air deposition from the Asarco smelter.
