Whenever a lawyer will be formally appearing and waiving an arraignment pursuant to CrRLJ 4.1(d), the lawyer may contact the court by telephone and obtain the pre-trial hearing date. The lawyer shall thereafter immediately cause to be filed the written appearance, waiver of arraignment and confirmation of the assigned pre-trial hearing date. No arraignment will be waived until receipt by the court of the written appearance and waiver.
