East Division, Redmond Courthouse

East Division, Redmond Courthouse is located in Redmond, Washington. The cities of Carnation, Duvall, Redmond, Skykomish and Woodinville all contract with the division for full court services. The division processes approximately 38,000 cases per year and is now accepting passport applications Monday through Friday. In 2003, the East Division formed a civil court in the Issaquah Courthouse. All civil and small claims actions which previously were filed in the Redmond Courthouse are now filed and heard in Issaquah.

The East Division has seven judges elected to serve the area. They are: Judge Janet Garrow, Division Presiding Judge; Judge Linda Jacke; Judge Frank V. La Salata; Judge Peter Nault; Judge Douglas Smith; and Judge David Steiner. The Redmond Courthouse was the first court in the nation to use the DUI Victims Panel. Redmond has also developed a program to help people with learning disabilities and a young adult mentor program.
