Judge Mariane Spearman was appointed to Position 5 on the King County District Court, West Division, Seattle Courthouse, in July 2000. Prior to her appointment to District Court, Judge Spearman served for 6 years as the municipal court judge for the city of Kirkland.
Judge Spearman received her BA from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in l981 and her JD from the University of Washington Law School in l984. She resides in Seattle with her husband, Michael, and their two children.
