SurveyingSurveyor

Online surveying: "The online survey is FABULOUS!!! I cannot imagine doing the paper version; this is so easy for me and our staff. The real time data tracking is great. Although I am getting obsessive about checking on our response rate. :)"
Stephanie Innis, ETC, Children's Hospital, Seattle

CTR affected worksites must conduct a measure of employee commute behavior every two years to measure their progress toward their CTR goals.

We are now pleased to offer two ways to survey your employees; the traditional paper scantron verson or a new online version. Both have their advantages in achieving a high response rate. Sites that are interested in the online survey should review the "Is the Online Survey right for Us? document and use the sample Communication to Information Technology/Systems Staff" to obtain concurrence before determining which would be best for your site.

Deciding Whom to Survey

The state-provided CTR Employee Questionnaire is the primary tool used to measure the worksite’s progress toward CTR goals and its program’s success. The survey measures employee commute behavior in two ways: vehicle miles traveled (VMT) per employee, and single-occupant vehicle (SOV) rate for the employee population surveyed. Survey results will also help you determine the effectiveness of your program elements and what program elements your employees want most.

You may also get permission to use equivalent data instead of the CTR Employee Questionnaire.
