BUSINESS USE OF VANS What is the Business Use of Vans program? The Business Use of Vans program makes Metro commuter vans available for employees to use during the workday. Vanpool commuter groups that participate receive a special subsidy incentive for allowing their van to be used during the workday. It also offers shuttle-type access to an employer's campus, or between multiple worksites, for people and/or materials. What are the benefits of Business Use of Vans? To Employers: provides vehicle(s) to be used to transport employees or material between multiple worksites during work hours reduces or eliminates capital costs for company-owned vehicles may address parking shortages, by eliminating the number of employees who need their vehicle to use for daily business-related trips To Employees: provides an incentive subsidy for vanpool commuter groups offers convenient way for employees to attend meetings off site and travel between multiple worksite locations How does Business Use of Vans help meet CTR goals?
