 Driving Costs Calculator

 Metro's new Online Trip Planner helps you create free, custom transit plans wherever Metro Transit goes--instantly, anytime. The Trip Planner currently provides information for Metro Transit, Sound Transit Express routes operated by Metro and Sounder Commuter Rail service.

 Metro's Public Safety Partnership program can provide speakers at transportation fairs, meetings or other events. Transit operators trained in public speaking can address issues of transit safety, and how transit customers can work together with drivers to create a safer commuting environment.

 The EPA has a website that can calculate and compare the fuel economy, operating costs, and emissions of cars and trucks by vehicle year, make and model.  www.epa.gov/globalwarming/tools/calculators.html
