To be eligible, you must:

First, get an application form and data sheet, and complete them. Then bring both forms with you to a regularly scheduled orientation. The orientation will include a passenger-relations video test and a short written test, which you must pass to be considered further for the position.

To make a reservation for the next testing and orientation, please call 206‑684‑1024. Directions to the test site are included on the complete job description page.

Every applicant who earns a passing score on the video test and written test gets an interview. The orientation, testing, and interview process will take about six hours.

Applicants who successfully complete the interview and screening process then must attend and pass all sessions of the paid training. During the training period, you’ll be required to get a Commercial Driver’s License.

Congratulations! You’re driving part-time for Metro Transit!
