King County Metro offers a variety of interactive transit education programs to schools in King County.

Transit Education Services Objectives and Programs

Each program, geared to a specific age-group, helps to:
  • develop a positive attitude towards public transportation
  • develop a sense of ownership and pride about public transit services
  • foster a sense of responsibility toward public property.
  • increase students' awareness of King County points of interest accessible by bus.
  • provide teachers with Metro contacts to use as resources.
  • emphasize safety when using Metro buses.

The programs emphasize information and activities appropriate to the particular age group.
