Safety assemblies are available in the fall for elementary schools who would like to have a short assembly on bus safety.

Safety Assemblies

The assemblies are available for the entire school from mid-September to late November. One or two half-hour programs will be scheduled, depending on the size of the school population.

The presentation features a slide show. Activity sheets will be given to all the students who attend the assembly and each school will receive our safety poster. The emphasis is on appropriate bus riding behavior and the difference between school buses and Metro buses -- "Don't Cross in Front of a Metro Bus."
