TRAFFIC ADVISORY -- NE 124th Street

The King County Road Services Division will close a section of Northeast 124th Street between Willows Road and 154th Place Northeast from 7PM, Friday, February 5th through approximately 6PM, Sunday February 7th. During the closure, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad will rebuild a rail crossing as part of overall improvements being made to Northeast 124th Street. If weather permits, crews may also begin seismic retrofit work on Sammamish River Bridge. The improvements are part of a $3.4 million project to improve a 1.5 mile stretch of Northeast 124th Street between 132nd Street/Place Northeast and SR-202 north of Redmond. The project is scheduled to be completed late this year.

During the weekend closure, motorists should use alternative routes including Willows Road, Northeast 116th Street and 154th Place.
