TRAFFIC ADVISORY

Motorists advised of upcoming Sammamish Plateau road closures

The King County Road Services Division and City of Sammamish are advising motorists that a portion of Southeast 24th Street between 228th Avenue Southeast and Audubon Park Drive will be closed from 6AM, Saturday, July 29th through approximately 6PM, Sunday, August 6th. During the closure, motorists should use Southeast 32nd Way and 244th Avenue Southeast as a detour around the closure.

An additional closure on Southeast 29th Street between 228th Avenue Southeast and 224th Place Southeast has been scheduled from 6AM, Saturday, August 5th through 6PM, Sunday, August 6th . Work at that location will involve raising the existing roadway to improve safety as part of the 228th Avenue Southeast construction project. Motorists should use 212th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 20th Street as a detour route during this weekend closure. Local access will be provided during this closure.
