News ReleaseRelease date: Sept. 18, 2001 Airport bus service rerouted Six bus routes that serve Sea-Tac Airport are currently being rerouted to avoid lengthy traffic back-ups at the airport. A free shuttle to the airport is being provided for passengers who ride any of those Metro Transit or Sound Transit routes serving the airport. Metro Transit routes 140, 174 and 194, and Sound Transit routes 560, 570 and 574 are currently dropping off and picking up airport passengers on International Boulevard, near the main entrance to Sea-Tac. The northbound stop is at South 179th Street, and the southbound stop is at South 182nd Street. The free shuttle picks up passengers and their luggage at those stops, and then drops them off at the lower baggage claim area. Arriving passengers are picked up at the regular bus stops at the airport. For more information, contact Metro Rider Information at (206) 553-3000, or visit Metro Online at http://transit.metrokc.gov. |
