South Park Bridge closed this weekend for repairs

The South Park Bridge over the Duwamish River will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, through 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, for emergency repairs.

The bridge connects 14th Avenue South and 16th Avenue South in south Seattle. The King County Department of Transportation will be repairing an alignment problem on the drawbridge during the closure.

The bridge deck will be closed to vehicles, and the drawbridge will be closed to marine traffic on the river during the weekend repairs.
