Metro Transit modifies schedules for holidays

King County Metro Transit will be operating different bus schedules on Dec. 25, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Sunday schedules will be in effect on those days. That means some routes will not operate on those three dates.

The downtown Seattle transit tunnel and Metro's Rider Information, Lost & Found, and Customer Assistance offices will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, as will all other Metro, Sound Transit and King County offices. Sounder commuter rail will not operate on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1

The Elliott Bay Water Taxi will operate on a Sunday schedule on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, and it will have an extended Saturday schedule for Dec. 31.
