Ride Metro to the King County Fair

The 140th Annual King County Fair opens Wednesday, July 17th and Metro Transit will be on hand to make the coming and going a little easier.

Metro will be operating fair shuttles between the fairgrounds in Enumclaw and two sites in Auburn until the fair ends on Sunday, July 21. The King County Fair Special Shuttle leaves from the Auburn Park and Ride Lot (Bay 2) at A Street and 15th Street Northeast. Six minutes later, the shuttle will stop eastbound on First Street Northeast just west of B Street in downtown Auburn.

Fairgoers can park free at the Auburn Park and Ride, or ride any regular service to the lot from other locations to connect with the shuttle. The shuttle has a front window sign that reads "King County Fair Special." Regular fares apply on the shuttles.

Several Metro and Sound Transit routes connect to the Fair Special at the Auburn Park and Ride or in downtown Auburn. Plus, three Metro routes serve the town of Enumclaw on a limited basis.

Check Metro Online to find fair shuttle and regular bus service information. For other information about bus service, call Metro Rider Information at (206) 553-3000, TTY users call (206) 684-1739. For the scheduled departure times of regular bus service at bus stops, call Bus Time (automated schedule information) at (206) 287-8463.
