Open house to discuss improvements
for the Woodinville-Duvall Road

The King County Roads Services Division is studying alternatives for improving the Northeast Woodinville-Duvall Road to reduce congestion and enhance safety.

Information on this project will be presented at a drop-in open house on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Leota Junior High School, 19301 168th Ave. NE, Woodinville.

More than 22,000 vehicles travel Northeast Woodinville-Duvall Road every day, and congestion is particularly bad between the Woodinville city limits and Avondale Road. The county is looking at different design alternatives to widen this section of two-lane road.

At this point, five alternatives are under consideration ranging from a "no-build" option to widening the road to five lanes.

At the drop-in open house on Oct. 29, people will be able to view displays of the different alternatives and provide county staff with their feedback and ideas.

For more information about the alternatives, visit the project website.

For more information about the meeting, contact Barbara de Michele, KCDOT community relations, at 206-263-3792 (voice), 206-684-1682 (TTY), or by email at barbara.demichele@metrokc.gov.
