p.m., and it’s first-come-first-served. The trip lasts about 2-1/2 hours.
Fares are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors (65 and over), and $4 for children
(2-11). Metro transfers, tickets, or passes are not accepted. Please, do not
bring food or beverages onboard the historic buses.
For more information, visit the MEHVA
website; or call the MEHVA
hotline at (206) 684-1816.
MEHVA was founded in 1981 by a group of Metro employees interested in
preserving some of the region's rolling history. Today, there are 18 vehicles
in the MEHVA fleet. King County Metro
Transit owns the vehicles, while MEHVA restores, maintains and operates the
buses with unpaid volunteer labor and provides parts no longer in Metro stock.
