News from King County Transportation Release date: March 18, 2005 UPDATE: The paving has been rescheduled to the week of March 28 due to recent wet weather.
Paving will close
lanes on The King County Road Services Division will complete final paving on its project along 124th Avenue Northeast in Kingsgate next week. That means the road will be closed down to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday, March 21 to Thursday, March 24. Flaggers will direct traffic through the work area one direction at a time, while the paving is being completed. The paving marks the final phase of the $5.8 project to improve traffic and pedestrian safety in the busy corridor along 124th Avenue Northeast between Northeast 132nd Street and Northeast 146th Place.
