News from King County Department of Transportation
Release date:
Nov. 6, 2006

Plan for weather-related transit disruptions

Heavy rains and flooding throughout King County are affecting many bus routes. Metro Transit is working with other jurisdictions to keep service disruptions to a minimum; however some buses may be rerouted or delayed.

Service revisions may be implemented, revised or canceled without notice. Visit Metro Online's Updates webpage for information about
known reroutes, but be advised that not all revisions may be posted there.

Please be aware of conditions in your area, check media reports frequently, visit RPIN, and wait for buses in locations that are not affected by flood waters.  Your patience during this situation is appreciated.
