Water, Water Everywhere - They are the worst flooding conditions our region has seen since 1990.  King County has four flood phases for times like these.  Find out what they mean along with useful phone numbers and what you can do during flooding to keep yourself safe.

Up And At 'Em - King County Metro introduced a new route on September 23rd with peak times around 3 a.m. and noon.  It's called route 180 and it runs through Auburn and Kent on its way to Sea-Tac to accommodate airport workers and their early schedules.

Bring It On - Workers at the Star Lake Maintenance Facility in Kent must be ready to battle the snow and ice way before the first flake falls in King County.  Watch the workers as they check all their equipment in preparation for winter.

Counting Creepy Crawlers - It's a dirty job, but King County Supervising Ecologist Rob Fritz is more than up to it. The Road Services Division checks on the livability of local streams for aquatic life by periodically  monitoring the number of insects and other organisms.

Metro, Google Make A Great Team - The process of planning your bus trip has entered the 21st century. King County Metro has teamed up with Google to offer a website that features computer-generated maps as well as satellite images of bus stops. Hear what King County Executive Ron Sims says about the new partnership.
