Capital Improvement Program (CIP) & Planning Section
|
Under the leadership of manager Jennifer Lindwall, the Road Services Division's Capital Improvement Program (CIP) &
Planning Section manages long-range transportation planning and capital program management for the roads
and bridges in unincorporated King County.
Transportation planning includes travel demand forecasting; development of a long-term transportation facilities plan;
roadway classification; concurrency and mitigation payment system management; non-motorized (i.e., pedestrian, bicycle and
equestrian) use planning; corridor studies and other transportation analysis; and road-related policy development for
King County.
The Capital Improvement Program is the development and ongoing management of the Roads Services Division capital
projects. This also includes administration and oversight of the consultant and construction contracts,
and the Roads Grant Program.
