Roads Maintenance — Engineering & Design Unit

Mission statement

Our mission is to support the Roads Maintenance Section by providing timely solutions for maintenance projects, road repair, facility improvements, and new construction through our technical expertise, sound engineering design and effective application of construction project management.

The Roads Maintenance Engineering & Design Unit provides engineering expertise in the development, design, and support of Roads Maintenance Section projects. Services the unit provides include:

Design engineering
  • Drainage design
  • Design of slide and washout repairs
  • Stream enhancement and mitigation design
  • Construction inspection and support

Facility construction management
  • Facility design
  • Contract management of facility maintenance services

Maintenance construction support
  • Utility coordination
  • Easement acquisition
  • Real Property Inventory
