Improving our community through healthier travel choices.
If you’re not going far, why not forget the car?

Congratulations for getting In Motion, Crossroads!

In Fall 2005 Metro Transit teamed with the City of Bellevue, Hopelink and other local organizations to help you and your neighbors practice new healthy travel habits and get more people to drive less!

Although the official project to encourage healthier travel options like the bus, carpooling, bicycling and walking in the Crossroads neighborhood has ended, we hope your new travel habits will continue!

We very much appreciate all of you who participated in the Crossroads in Motion program, whether by pledging to make travel changes or just seeking more healthy travel information.  All your efforts really added up to make a difference!

Look what we accomplished!

  • 289 drive less pledges
  • 487 healthy travel info requests
  • 6,674 car trips saved

You reported:

  • 23% less driving alone
  • 20% more busing
  • 5% more walking
