Check out Who’s In Motion in LFP
From : I bicycle to work on a very regular basis. So far this year I have commuted 93% of the time for about 3500 miles. I ride my bike from Lake Forest Park to Group Health Cooperative's Central Hospital on Capitol Hill. I work afternoon shift and therefore half my commute is done at night (usually between midnight and 2am). I’ve sent a picture to capture the night time feel…BE SAFE and BE VISIBLE…is my motto. It’s really nice to be rewarded for making the effort to use alternative transportation methods. Thanks for your effort. From : I don’t have a photo…no one around when I’m riding. But I do enjoy biking and taking the bus. I come from a small community without bus service. I drove 12 miles each way, home to and from work. I moved to Lake Forest Park about three years ago and started riding the bus about two years ago (12 miles each way). The city put in some bike lockers and I now combine biking to the bus and the bus downtown. It is great! I have more options and I had a physical recently and the doctor was really pleased with my numbers. My diabetes is now under control via diet and exercise. Your program isn’t the reason for this change but it provide a great incentive. My daughter immediately picked up the certificates and went to REI! Thanks… Coyote Junior High Art ProjectsYoung artists from central Seattles innovative after school arts program devoted Valentines weekend to creating transportation choices art. Nine student artists worked in the studio of project graphic designer Peg Ogle. The result was terrific, high energy visuals being used on this website and in program materials.
