North Lake Union properties

After several months of studying the potential future uses of three county-owned parcels of land in the North Lake Union area of Seattle, Metro Transit completed a master plan that will help inform future decisions regarding these properties.

Two of the properties are currently occupied by Metro Transit facilities, and the third is a King County general fund property. Some possible future uses include public use, private use, non-profit use, and use related to waterborne transportation.

A Stakeholder Working Group was convened to meet during April-August of 2004 and provide public input about the properties and possible future uses for them. Documents relating to this group are available on our download page.

A public workshop was held on June 15, 2004, to gather community ideas about potential uses of the properties.

Please check back for additional information, which will be posted as it becomes available, or contact us with your questions or comments.
