Here is a list of King County Department of Transportation projects that
may disrupt traffic and travel in the coming weeks: April 28, 2008
Tolt Bridge – A lengthy closure of the Tolt Bridge on
Northeast Tolt Hill Road will begin on Monday, May 5 as King County
prepares to open a new bridge across the Snoqualmie River. The road is
expected to be closed through Friday, May 30. Motorists can detour via
State Route 202 and State Route 203.
15th Avenue Southwest – Crews will be repaving a section of 15th Avenue Southwest in the White Center area on Wednesday and Thursday, May 7 and 8. The road will be closed to most traffic between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. between Southwest Roxbury Street and Southwest 100th Street. North Fork Road Southeast – Wagners Bridge, which carries North Fork Road Southeast over the North Fork of the Snoqualmie River about 10 miles northeast of North Bend, is closed for construction. The road is a popular access point to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness for hikers and recreationalists. While the bridge is closed, motorists can purchase a vehicle access permit into the backcountry, or access the Alpine Lakes area on Forest Service roads from the north and east.
Weather-related road closures can be found online.
