  Here is a list of King County Department of Transportation projects that may disrupt traffic and travel in the coming weeks:

September 17, 2007

Southeast 39th Place - Southeast 39th Place north of Fall City will be closed until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26 while crews replace a small bridge on the Rutherford Slough. Also, equestrian access to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail from Southeast 39th Place will be prohibited during the closure.

Southeast 416th Street & 244th Avenue Southeast - The intersection of Southeast 416th Street and 244th Avenue Southeast near Enumclaw will be closed until 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5. while King County Road Services crews replace a culvert underneath the roadway. Motorists can detour via Southeast 400th Street, State Route 169, and Southeast 424th Street.

Neal Road Southeast - The King County Road Services Division will close Neal Road Southeast between Fall City and Carnation through Sept. 20. During the closure, a short bridge that spans a tributary of the Snoqualmie River near the north end of Neal Road will be replaced. Motorists can detour via State Route 203.

276th Avenue Southeast - In Hobart, the closure of 276th Avenue Southeast has been extended until late September. The road is closed between Southeast 197th Street and Southeast 200th Street for a culvert replacement. Motorists can detour via Southeast 216th Street, 244th Avenue Southeast and State Route 18.

North Fork Road Southeast - Wagners Bridge, which carries North Fork Road Southeast over the North Fork of the Snoqualmie River about 10 miles northeast of North Bend, will be closed for construction through November. The road is a popular access point to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness for hikers and recreationalists. While the bridge is closed, motorists can purchase a vehicle access permit into the backcountry, or access the Alpine Lakes area on Forest Service roads from the north and east.
