King County licenses many animal related businesses including pet shops, grooming businesses, kennels, hobby kennels, guard dog trainers, purveyors and owners.

If you engage in any of the above listed animal related businesses and are located in King County with the exception of the cities of Seattle, Renton, Normandy Park, Des Moines, Medina, Algona, Pacific or Newcastle, you may require a King County license.
