NOTE: Application must be specific in detailing experience driving trucks with a minimum load capacity of five (5) yards, up to and including twelve (12) yards.
SELECTION PROCESS: Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications will be invited for a skills assessment test, driving test, and interview. This recruitment is for the purpose of creating a list to fill vacancies and temporary positions as they occur.

WORK LOCATION: Various locations throughout King County, WA
WORK SCHEDULE: This position is non-exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible. Standard workweek is Monday – Friday; 8hrs/day; 40hrs/week (4/10 schedule in the summer). Working after-hours and weekends may be required on an emergency basis during inclement weather, workload situations and special projects. Overtime hours and weekends vary upon business demand, workload and season/weather.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: Safely and efficiently drive trucks with a minimum load capacity of five (5) yards, up to and including twelve (12) yards. Specific responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: As a condition of employment for jobs in this classification, as required by federal regulations, the applicant selected must submit to drug testing and test negative for presence of controlled substances; sign a Consent Form of Release of Information for each employer for the past two years; and successfully pass a background check for Alcohol and Controlled Substances testing and CDL background information check. The selected candidate will be required to pass a physical examination prior to employment, which may include an x-ray of the lower back and audiogram.
UNION MEMBERSHIP: This position is represented by the Teamsters, Local 174. Membership is required within first thirty days of hire.
