WORK LOCATION: King Street Center, 201 S. Jackson Street, Seattle, WA.
WORK SCHEDULE: This position is not eligible for overtime pay. The workweek is normally 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Work with a team of project managers to provide technical project management services focusing on technical integration aspects of several large, complex information systems in production and under development.
- Manage a Technical Interface Committee process and coordinate the work of multiple contractors to ensure successful systems integration, testing and deployment.
- Work with designated project managers to ensure that contractual requirements, integration requirements, functional specifications and acceptance criteria are properly met for successful project outcomes.
- Measure success metrics, identify business impacts and contribute to Risk Management.
- Track and manage development, testing, documentation and system integration of Application Programming Interfaces
- Prioritize, reconcile, and resolve all variances in collaboration with project teams.
- Provide assorted reporting to appropriate oversight teams.
- Provide appropriate documentation for all development lifecycle stages.
- Comply with established project management processes, procedures and best practices.
- Work with contractors, business units, and other stakeholders to assure good relationships and project success.
- May be called upon to provide support for service issues or support at any time.
- May be asked to lead multidisciplinary work teams.
QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in technology management, engineering, computer science, transportation planning, business administration or a closely related field, OR the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Five years of experience in information systems project management or technology project management. This includes working knowledge of needs analysis, design, systems integration, implementation, maintenance, documentation, training, risk assessment, as well as responsibility for scope, schedule and budget.
- Full software development lifecycle Project Management experience on complex, highly visible, or potentially sensitive projects lasting more than 1 year.
- Experience defining complete system architectures and designs including detailed hardware, software and electrical interfaces between system components.
- Experience with advanced networking and wireless systems, remote monitoring and control systems and processes.
- Experience with Risk Management systems: identifying, tracking, mitigating, and planning.
- Detailed understanding of multiple development languages.
- Detailed understanding of multiple application architectures.
- Detailed understanding of databases, their use and design.
- Detailed understanding of Security and how to mitigate critical vulnerabilities.
- Detailed understanding and experience defining and integrating major subsystems.
- Knowledge of multiple operating systems environments with special emphasis on MS Windows and UNIX variants.

- Knowledge of high availability systems and their design.
