King County Parks Levy

King County Parks Levy Update

In March of 2007, King County Executive Ron Sims and a citizen task force offered resounding support for renewing the King County Parks levy that expires at year’s end.

The proposed Levy transmitted to the King County Council called for renewal of the 2003 Levy, modest additional investments in maintenance improvements and important open space conservation projects that will help ensure the County’s long-term commitment to preserving the region’s environmental health and water quality.
