King County's North Green River Gardens feature plenty of 400-square-foot pea patches for rent at $50 each for the season. To register, download the form at http://www.metrokc.gov/parks/news/pdf/comgardapp1.pdf, and mail the completed form with payment to the address printed on the form. A chart with available garden plots is available by calling Anne Lipe, King County Parks, at 206-205-8751. Prospective gardeners can either visit the garden to choose a plot, or let parks staff assign a plot.
