Earthquake Seminar
The Sound Shake ’08 “Grounds a Movin” Seminar was held on September 27th on Mercer Island. With a standing room only crowd, the half day seminar was deemed a huge success.
Keynote Speaker
Al Lenzini - Retired Deputy Public Works Director, Oakland, California – Mr. Lenzini provided insightful and thought provoking insights based on his experience with the Loma Prieta earthquake as well as the Oakland hills firestorm of 1991. He made real-world comparisons and recommendations for action following a large scale earthquake here in the Puget Sound.
Breakout Sessions
The breakout session offered a better understanding of regional capabilities, projects, and plans. Breakout Session presentations and speaker contact information can be found under each session topic.
**All Power Point presentations below are in PDF format**
