Overview
| Some magnitude earthquake occurs nearly every day here in the Puget Sound region, yet the last large scale earthquake exercise was nearly 10 years ago. With this in mind, the Seattle UASI Area (comprised of King, Pierce, Snohomish Counties, City of Seattle and City of Bellevue) obtained a grant to develop and execute a Seattle Fault Catastrophic Earthquake exercise.
Sound Shake ‘08 a Functional Catastrophic Tri-county Earthquake Exercise will occur March 5, 2008. Is your agency interested in participating? Fill out this form (PDF) and email it to SS_2008@seattle.gov. |
