Spotlight on School Success Make a difference in a student's life! Imagine the sense of accomplishment students feel seeing their photo on our Awards Ceremony photo page! Click the camera to see pictures of the 2007 Awards Ceremony! There are many success stories in King County where a school district has stepped forward and taken on truancy as not just another issue to be handled but as a real priority that demands attention. The King County Prosecuting Attorney's office feels it is important to recognize success stories. We are looking for students who have overcome difficulties and adversity to make school a priority in life. If you know of such an individual, we'd like to hear from you. Consideration should be given to scholastic achievement, leadership, attendance and other significant accomplishments. It's as easy as one, two, three! 1. Type or write up to two pages describing students who have overcome difficulties and adversity to make school a priority in life. You may include recommendations from school counselors and/or teachers, GPA, and attendance records. Each student nominated will receive recognition from the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. 2. Complete an Academic Awareness Award Cover Sheet (select format you prefer and click graphic):
OR Complete an Angel Award Nomination Cover Sheet to nominate an individual who has touched the life of a student in helping them get back in school (select format you prefer and click graphic):
OR Complete an Peer Award Nomination Cover Sheet to nominate an individual who has truly gone the distance in helping kids get back in school (select format you prefer and click graphic):
